Government disaster assistance covers basic needs only and will not normally compensate you for your entire loss. If you have insurance, the government may help pay for basic needs not covered under your insurance policy. Some disaster aid does not have to be paid back, while other assistance may come in the form of loans.

In 1968 Mary Anne Barothy left her society reporter's job at The Indianapolis News to fulfill a movie fan's dream: she went to Hollywood to work for her film idol Doris Day. As the only person besides a relative to live in Doris day's home, Barothy will share stories never before told and photos never before seen. She will bring pictures, scripts, and memorabilia from her personal collection. Copies of her book Day at a Time will be available for purchase and autographing. Brownsburg Police Department presents Night Out Against Crime, "Give neighborhood crime & drugs a going away party" on Tuesday, August 5 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Brownsburg Police Department.  Free food, live bank, free kid's ID cards and activities and a chance to meet your Brownsburg Police officers.
